What the figures mean, and what is not on this page.
Because the number has not been set yet, and a placeholder would be a figure we made up. Area, net rate, additional rent and price are all optional on a listing here, and where one is blank the page says On request rather than showing a zero or a guess. If a figure matters to your decision, ask and we will tell you where it stands.
The net rate is the rent. Additional rent is your share of what it costs to run the building: property taxes, insurance, common area maintenance and management. Both are quoted per square foot per year. Where we hold both figures the listing also shows the total, because that total is what your business actually has to cover.
It is read from our own records at the moment you load the page, so a unit that has been leased stops showing as available without anyone republishing anything. What it cannot tell you is how far along a conversation on a given space already is, which is worth asking about a unit you are serious about.
No. A good deal of what we hold never reaches a public listing, and some owners specifically do not want a vacancy advertised. Tell us the corridor, the bay size or the kind of exposure you need and we will look at what is not on this page.
